Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) Supports Kuwaiti Students through Sponsorship of EGNUKS Conference in Egypt

Held over two days in March 2024, the event welcomed distinguished guests, including Minister Plenipotentiary Mishari Al-Nibari, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Kuwait in Cairo, Egypt and Dr. Khaled Al-Muhareb, Head of the Cultural Office. . From the National Bank of Kuwait, it was attended by Mohammed Talib Behbehani, Head of Private Banking, in addition to a representative of the Corporate Communications Department.

Behbehani stressed the importance of their participation, saying: “This sponsorship confirms our firm commitment to empowering Kuwaiti students who are pursuing their education abroad. This initiative reflects our commitment to social responsibility, which aims to guide students in their academic journey and provide them with valuable experiences to successfully overcome challenges.”

During the conference, ABK organized a range of attractive activities specially designed for Kuwaiti students in Egypt, including exciting cash prizes and an information segment presented by ABK-Egypt employees to introduce students to the bank’s various products and services.

In line with its dedication to enhancing educational opportunities, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait has been a strong supporter of Kuwaiti students locally and internationally. Behbehani concluded his speech by saying: “Sponsoring the EGNUKS conference is a testament to ABK’s enduring dedication to promoting educational excellence and empowering future leaders in Kuwait.”

The bank’s comprehensive approach is not limited only to current students, but also extends to supporting new graduates by providing job opportunities and customized training through the ABK Academy. Since its inception in 2009, the Academy has played an instrumental role in developing the skills of aspiring banking professionals, in line with ABK’s long-standing commitment to nurturing national talent and increasing employment opportunities through targeted initiatives such as career fairs and youth development programmes.
