The King Salman Relief Center concludes the Saudi Ibsar program in the Republic of Bangladesh

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center concluded the Saudi Ibsar volunteer program among school students in the city of Dhaka, the Republic of Bangladesh, in cooperation with the International Sight Foundation.

The center’s volunteer medical team examined 30,195 male and female students during the campaign. In 52 schools in different regions of Bangladesh; To ensure the safety of their eyesight and provide preventive eye health services, in addition to raising awareness and education about eye diseases, as well as holding 3 training workshops for teachers; To train them on the basics of early detection to examine cases of visual impairment among students in schools, 161 male and female teachers benefited from it, and 1,193 male and female students were referred to hospitals. In preparation for providing the necessary medical services for treatment.

 

The implementation of the program comes within the framework of voluntary medical projects related to combating blindness and the diseases that cause it, which the Kingdom provides through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center; To help patients and those suffering from eye diseases in various parts of the world, and to alleviate their suffering.

 

In a separate framework, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 500 food baskets to the most needy families in the city of Shyamnagar. In the Satkhira region of the Republic of Bangladesh, 2,500 individuals benefited from it, as part of the “Feeding” basket distribution project. Ramadan in the Republic of Bangladesh for the year 1445.

 

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center also distributed 300 food baskets to the most needy families in the Jal Dhaka and Nilphamari regions of the Republic of Bangladesh, benefiting 1,500 individuals. This is within the “Feeding” basket distribution project. Ramadan in the Republic of Bangladesh for the year 1445 AH.

This initiative comes within the framework of the system of humanitarian and relief projects presented by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to provide food security in many sisterly and friendly countries around the world during the blessed month of Ramadan.
