The number of victims in Crocus City Hall increased to 551

As a result of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, 551 people were injured. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Moscow Region. Previously, 382 casualties were reported.

According to updated data, as of 6 a.m. Moscow time on March 30, as a result of the terrorist attack suffered a total of 695 people, of whom 144 died. Five children were among the dead.

Several dozen people are considered missing after the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall on March 22. The Investigative Committee reported that it had received more than 140 reports of missing people from relatives or loved ones. According to the Baza telegram channel, 95 people are considered missing after the terrorist attack.

On the evening of March 22, several people started shooting in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow, then an explosion occurred there and a fire started.

Nine people were arrested in the case – most are citizens of Tajikistan. It was reported that the four accused of carrying out the terrorist attack faced torture during detention and interrogation.

Several of those sent to pre-trial detention appealed their arrest. According to them, they did not know about the impending terrorist attack.

Investigative actions in the case of the terrorist attack at Crocus are also taking place in Tajikistan. Relatives of the attackers at the concert hall are being interrogated there. According to media reports, representatives of Russian law enforcement agencies are taking part in investigative actions in Tajikistan.

After the terrorist attack, police in Russia tightened checks on migrants. In addition, an increase in xenophobic sentiments has been recorded in the country, and there are cases of attacks against people from Central Asia.

The Russian side claims that Ukraine may be behind the terrorist attack. Kyiv categorically denies all accusations. The United States blames the terrorist group Islamic State for the incident. Previously, she took responsibility for the terrorist attack at Crocus.
